Crimes of True Love

Castle S03E05 Anatomy of a Murder

In last week's episode, an extra dead body was discovered stuffed into a closed casket during a funeral when the pall-bearer accidentally lost his grip (a too-heavy casket will do that). The hunt for the good doctor's killer led them to a flirtatious male nurse (with lots of little plays on the McDreamy name from Grey's Anatomy), a mystery boyfriend, as well as El Diablo - a druglord.

The plot was a well-written tale of intrigue and misdirection. Of course, the side plot of true everlasting love was worthy of a second glance as well - poor Castle got upstaged by his own ex-wife in Alexis' happily ever after. Plus Beckett's ending comment was absolute brilliance, though I'm a bit unsure whether the writers intended for her to know the implications.
