Bones S06E04 The Body and the Bounty

This episode was AMAAAZING...as Bunsen Jude the Science Dude would say ^.~ It was very clever to give him a name that's related to something sciency (bunsen burners). In any case, he was a kid's science show host (think Bill Nye the Science Guy integrated with Mythbusters) who wanted to have Brennan guest star on an episode of his tv show. Initially she refused, but she changed her mind after adding a condition - that he help her as a 'squintern'.

The case this time was to capture the murderer of a body that only had the head and hands, although later the rest was found. They needed to discover the cause of death, and although the science dude did a fantastic job, it seemed a bit unrealistic that 1. what needed to be discovered was so simplistic and 2. the science dude knew how to identify what he saw. However, it was nice to see Hodgins revert back to his kiddie days of experimenting, like he used to do with Zack, only this time with the science dude.

The murder weapon made sense in context, however, I was completely mystified as to the reason why it would be used instead of normal weaponry to catch people. Normally it wouldn't do any damage at all. Besides that tiny little detail, the episode was very entertaining, even if the the science dude's AMAZZZINGS actually started to drive me up the wall. Also, Brennan's ending scene was simply hilarious and very fun.
