Bones S06E02 The Couple in the Cave
I pretty much expected that they would bring in Booth's new interest, otherwise there would be no room for Bones' soul-searching. Unfortunately, I think her character is very much portrayed as jealous. Yes, you get Bones' jealousy as well, but it's a little more subtle only through her constant mentions of Hannah. In Hannah's case I'm getting the side-looks, and the constant hinting that they're together.
I'm surprised to see that the character of Dr. Clark Eddison is back. He got passed over for a promotion, but came back to the Jeffersonian? That's not the way to ingratiate yourself to get a promotion later. In any case, I love that he's back because his constant frustration with the personal issues being aired in the work environment is hilarious. Yet, when it comes down to it, he also has an opinion on Booth and Bones' relationship, since he couldn't take the tension and blurted out his opinion.
Obviously the theme of this episode was love, because the male victim could have saved himself but chose to stay with the woman he loved and die together. While it was a very romantic notion, and thus a nice topic for Booth and Bones to air their differing views, it seemed a little far-fetched that the male wouldn't even have attempted going for help.
Overall a solid episode, even though I pretty much knew who the killer was going to be from the middle of the episode. Bones writers...do a better job and don't make it so obvious!
